Additional Notes

Stained Glass Window: please be gentle with the Lady the Lake! She’s an original artwork from a local artist & previous owner of this home. She is quite old and also quite frail! Please refrain from touching it from either side, leaning on it or playing ball near it outside as we’d like to preserve it as long as possible!

Parking: please do not try to park vehicles or boats under the side balcony, as it is difficult to navigate past the balcony post. There is ample parking for 2 cars on the driveway. You are welcome to park in front of the house on the road also.

Spillages: if anything spills on the vinyl tiled flooring, please clean it up quickly to prevent damage. If it’s lots of water / liquid and a wipe or tea-towel isn’t enough, there’s a mop in the laundry or you can grab a towel from the linen cupboard next to the dining table to absorb it. Please throw it into the laundry basket downstairs.

Awning: the balcony dining area near the BBQ features an electric awning that can open out & retract. The toggle switch is located to the left of the balcony door nearest the outdoor dining area. Under no circumstances should it be opened or left out in anything over the lightest winds or rain! You’ll see it move around and creak in the wind, and it will collect rain water if it is left out – excessive strain will break it.
